Os deputados federais Domingos Dutra (PT/MA), Erika Kokay (PT/DF) e Padre Ton (PT/RO) entregam à Presidência da Câmara, nesta quarta-feira (21/12), às 15h30, o relatório da diligência feita a aldeias indígenas de Mato Grosso do Sul, nos dias 2 e 3 de dezembro.
O relatório aponta um etnocídio dos Guarani Kaiowá em Mato Grosso do Sul, que concentrou, no ano passado, 57% de todos os assassinatos de índios ocorridos no Brasil. O texto denuncia a omissão do Estado brasileiro em relação aos indígenas daquela região, que sofrem com a violência, o racismo, o confinamento, a desnutrição e precárias condições de vida.
O relatório também faz referência ao assassinato, no último dia 18 de novembro, do cacique Nísio Gomes, cujo corpo continua desaparecido, e à impunidade que tem marcado os crimes contra os indígenas do Mato Grosso do Sul.
Após entregarem o documento ao presidente da Câmara dos Deputados, Marco Maia, os parlamentares do PT disponibilizarão o relatório completo aos jornalistas e falarão com a imprensa sobre as providências que serão tomadas.
